Snowesti - Your Westie Puppy Expert
This is probably the hardest e-mail to answer. How do you put all this information into an email? The answers will take forever! The best advice that I can give is to go to a bookstore or a public library and get a good book; my favorite is Westies From Head to Tail by Ruth Faherty, and for training, Puppies for Dummies. You can also google Westie puppies on any search engine and find some great information on Westies.
Yes, puppies will be 8 weeks old with their 1st puppy vaccines before I show them.
PLEASE NOTE: I have many inquiries to come and visit my Westies pups; I update all current information on the pages on this website. If you are serious about getting a puppy from me, please email me under the contact form page, or for a quicker reply, you can text me at (404) 333-7301. Puppies are shown to serious inquiries only. Please do your research on Westies before visiting with my puppies. My time is as valuable as yours, so please contact me ONLY if you are serious about adopting one of my puppies. Thank you for understanding.
Between 8-10 weeks old, they have at least 1 or 2 puppy vaccines and 4 deworming before going to their new home.
I will accept cash or check for deposit; all deposits are non-refundable. When the puppy is ready to go home, I accept Cash only. The $400 deposit will be applied to the total price of the puppy 2200.
You need to puppy-proof your house, just like you are planning on having a baby in your home. You will need a wire crate along with a puppy exercise playpen to attach to the crate.
Please DO NOT change the puppy's diet; he/she will be eating ROYAL CANIN SMALL BREED PUPPY. MIXED WITH NEWMANS ORGANIC CAN, CHICKEN, AND LIVER, or BEEF LIVER, 3 times a day, 1/3 cup per feeding.
BRAGGS Organic apple cider vinegar: a little added to a water bowl daily can help digestion and deterfleas.
Crate: Avoid crating a dog for more than 4-5 hours. Place only safe toys inside. Make sure the crate is large enough for your Westie when fully grown; you can block off part for the puppy.
Baby gates or puppy playpen: a good confinement alternative. Make sure the puppy can't get its head/paws caught in the gate, knock down, or jump the gate.
Bedding: easy to clean, thick enough for comfort.
Puppy x- pen: helpful when you want a pup confined but not crated.
Water and food bowls: use stainless steel only. Steel comb for keeping mats combed out.
No, please do not ask! You can either fly or drive to Atlanta to pick up your puppy. When you fly, you will be able to buy the puppy a ticket, and she/he will be able to fly in the cabin with you.
